    Story

Run for Raff will be holding our 4th annual run/walk on 27 December 2017, in memory of our friend Adrian Rafferty (Raff) from Lissummon who lost his battle with Leukaemia in September 2014.

We have added new and challenging 10K and 5K routes this year as well as a new 3 mile walk.

This year's chosen charities are: Leukaemia Lymphoma NI; Run for Autism and Southern Area Hospice.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI - funds research into the causes and cures of leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma in Northern Ireland. The only charity in Northern Ireland solely dedicated to fighting Blood Cancers.

Run for Autism HAND - supports those living with autism and their families in the Southern area across Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon and Newry, Mourne and Down Districts. Every penny raised goes towards autism as all members of this charity are volunteers. The funds are distributed to local autism groups, schools with special needs classes and charities which help individuals with autism and their families through summer schemes, equipment and autism-friendly facilities.

Southern Area Hospice - provides invaluable support and care to people living within the Southern area, who are suffering from Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and AIDS. Its aim is to provide the best quality of life for patients and their families. All services are provided free of charge and the charity relies heavily on voluntary donations to continue providing special care.

To date Run for Raff have raised over £48,000 for a range of charities thanks to the support of family, friends, neighbours, local businesses, communities and you the public - thank you!

Registration on the day at the Railway Bar, Poyntzpass from 10:45am. £10 pp. Family walk £15.

If you cannot come along, then please use this page to make a donation no matter how small to help support these local charities. All funds raised go to the charities.

    Lets help make a difference!
