On Sunday 11th May, I will run my first ever marathon, in memory of our son Rycroft, who died in 2023 aged just 16 months old.

Last year was meant to be my first ever marathon, and I was all ready to go for the 2024 Leeds Rob Burrow Marathon.. only for a phone call in the night to mean I was driving down the A1 because our daughter Seffy was on the way a little sooner than expected!

I am aiming to raise funds which will be split between our three Rycroft charities; Colchester Hospital Children's Ward, Great Ormond Street Hospital and SDS UK.

It has meant so much to us that so many people have shown how much Rycroft means to them, and to be able to help other children like Rycroft, other families like ours.
