Story

I am a wife and mother. I don't run because I love it. I run because I love who I am when I'm done. Some days it's not about miles or speed, it's just therapy.

I ran my first half marathon (2016) and first full marathon (2017) as a way to deal with the tragic death of my older brother. Running quickly became my therapy. It has taught me to always push forward especially in the most difficult times. It has taught me that I'm capable of so much more than I ever imagined!!!

Moving forward, I choose to run for charity.

I have pledged to raise $2300 on behalf of World Vision Japan as I run the March 2020 Tokyo Marathon! I ask for your financial support to reach this charity goal (for a trustworthy organization) and your personal support to help me successfully train and complete this major marathon!

1 in every 13 children can not reach their 5th birthday in the sub-Saharan Africa. Most of those children die of preventable water-borne diseases such as diarrhea.

World Vision Japan is tackling the issue by building water supply systems in communities, installing wells and toilets in primary schools, and providing hygiene training for children.

I’m asking for your support. No amount is too small and 100% of your donation goes towards World Vision Clean Water.

Your donation will bring more safe water and save more lives. Join our mission and place your hopes and prayers in us.
