I've raised £1500 to support Post Natal Depression - Running for Rebecca Kruza - Brighton Half Marathon, 25th February 2018

Rebecca Kruza was a daughter, sister, auntie, partner, mother and dear friend to many people whos lives she touched. If you met her she would always be cheerful and chatty and loved spending time with family and friends. She took pleasure in travelling and visited many places all over the world, but really enjoyed coming back to her comfortable home and was very house proud. In 2016 Henry was born, her and Simon we're delighted to meet their long awaited child.
In June 2017 Becky tragically took her own life suffering from severe Post Natal Depression. She left a devastated family and many friends alike. People who knew Becky well were shocked, heartbroken and desperately wanted to help and raise awareness of PND.
In the months following her passing a friend suggested we run the Brighton Half Marathon which turned out to be taking place on the 25th Febrauary, which would have been her 40th birthday. Running has given me and others a focus and some much needed positivity in our lives as you achieve new goals. The ultimate target is to complete the half marathon, raise awareness and donation for charities who support women who suffer after childbirth.
If you would like to read more about PND and how your donations can help then please visit www.pandasfoundation.org.uk.
The people who are Running for Rebecca will be Kate Kruza, Naomi Varty, Ellie Curran, Helen Hixon, Ben McGhee, Jordan Heslop, Grant Kennison, Kim May-Wickens, Matt Wickens, Hannah Shilling, Joshua Brearley, Jessica Footit and Steph Morris.
I am massively grateful to these guys above for making such a huge effort to support the cause and I look forward to the event. I will do my best to finish for my sister.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you are able to support us with a donation, whatever the amount.
