Hello,

Most of you know that I am not a runner or exercise regularly but I met a little boy called Dan whilst at work at Peterborough United and his passion for life and the fact he suffers with Ullrich Congenital Muscular Dystrophy doesn’t stop him from living his life and inspiring others You can read Dan's story below.

So because of how truly amazing and inspiring Dan is I want to help him achieve his goal and here’s where you can help to. Dan has Muscular Dystrophy and plays power chair football but after being selected to play regionally and scoring a hat trick against Portsmouth he now needs a specialised wheel chair so anything you can spare to help me raise funds for this would be amazing.

I’m going to run the Perkins 5K Fun Run in October and all proceeds will go towards helping this amazing little boy achieve his dream of playing power chair football for England one day. I’m training hard with the help of Matt and will give this my all for a little boy that has a permanent smile on his face and brightens the life of not only me when he visits work but all those who meet him.
