Rae Mainwaring and Aimee Berwick are Launching Running With Scissors Theatre Company through a mini-festival that explores & celebrates a flexible model of theatre making to better serve parents and carers in the arts.

We will showcase our own work: MAMA (Aimee) and Bright Places (Rae). We also want to support another parent/carer artist from the Midlands to share a new or existing piece of work.

In order to make this happen we're asking you lovely people to donate what you can. The money will go towards supporting the chosen parent/career artist, giving them a paid opportunity to test their work. We would also like to give them a video so they can share what they've made with a wider audience.

We're applying for an Arts Council Project Grant and have support from the lovely people at Belgrade Theatre. We're a new company with big ambitions for the parent/artist community so we'll also be working with PiPA as we build something that is future proof.
