Story

Please help us give deprived children in Peru the best Christmas present they can receive. Education!!

Children in Peru have not been to school AT ALL since the first lockdown in April 2020 and those in remote areas with no electricity are desperate for an education.

Allin Q'pina means good rucksack in Quechua.

The inventor Oscar Vilchez Valenzuela makes and donates extraordinarily effective and robust rucksacks that incorporate solar panels and USB ports to attach tablets or smartphones, he has also found ways to optimise bandwidth in order to connect severely deprived children to their classrooms in remote areas.

Oscar needs funds to make more rucksacks to give children a future after this most traumatic period in Peruvian history has made it the country with the worst death rate in the world... It's people are poorer than ever with the children' future bleaker than ever.

Each rucksack costs £45, including all costs related to the distribution. Every contribution will be very gratefully received and the funds will be channelled through the Anglo Peruvian Society, a UK registered charity which is supporting Allin Q'Pina as its Christmas appeal.

Peruvian children need our help!
