Story

🌈 Rupert’s Rainbow – 24hr Charity Walk 🌈

On Friday 17th April at 2pm, we’re taking on a 24 hour continuous walking challenge around Wrexham AFC’s Racecourse Ground, finishing at 2pm on Saturday before they take on Stoke City. The route is currently being finalised.

A small team of us will be walking through the day and night in shifts, keeping going for the full 24 hours to raise money for Rupert.

💙 Why we’re doing this 💙

Rupert’s Rainbow was created after Rupert was diagnosed with an ultra-rare, life-threatening condition.

We are now facing a race against time to raise £1.5 million to access specialist treatment that’s currently being developed in America.

Wrexham means so much to us. It’s where Rupert was born, where he receives treatment, and where I’ve worked, made lifelong friends, and supported fundraising for other charities and good causes.

Now, we’re hoping the community that has given us so much can help us support Rupert.

🚶 The challenge 🚶

• 24 hours of continuous walking

• Through the night, when it’s toughest

• A small team, taking it in turns to keep moving

It will be tiring, uncomfortable, and a real test—but it’s nothing compared to what Rupert is facing.

🙏 Please support if you can

We’ve set an initial target of £7,000, and the number 7 means so much to us:

• 🌈 The 7 colours of the rainbow

• 💙 Rupert was just 7 months old when diagnosed

• 👏 Wrexham fans showed incredible support with a 7th-minute applause

It’s a number that represents hope, strength, and the community around us.

🌈 Thank you 🌈

Together, we can help turn Rupert’s Rainbow into hope 💜
