Wrexham Police FC Returns… One Last Time for Rupert 🌈⚽
Before Rupert was born, I founded Wrexham Police FC, a charity football team made up of off-duty police officers determined to make a difference in our community. Together, over three years, we raised more than £80,000 for local charities and good causes.
I made the difficult decision to step away. Family are my priority, and I just couldn’t give the team the time and commitment it deserved.
Now, for one game only, Wrexham Police FC is coming back—this time to play for Rupert.
Join us on Saturday 12th September 2026 at Airbus Broughton as we take on Andy’s Man Club, for what promises to be a fantastic community day, with a charity football match, entertainment, family activities, food, stalls and much more.
Every penny raised will go directly to Rupert’s Rainbow. Our goal is to give Rupert the very best chance at the future by funding specialist therapies now, while also raising money towards future treatments and, ultimately, a cure when they become available. With exciting advances in gene-editing and AHC research, we want to ensure that finances are never a barrier to Rupert accessing life-changing treatment.
By supporting this event, you’re not only helping Rupert—you’ll also be raising awareness of Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood, a condition that affects just around 60 people in the UK.
Whether you can join us on the day or simply make a donation, every contribution brings us one step closer to hope.
Thank you for believing in Rupert and helping us fight for his future. 💜🌈
