So as most of you know our baby boy was diagnosed with a condition called Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. This is a condition where the diaphragm hasn't formed correctly. This then allows the intestines that should be below the diaphragm to slip up into the chest area and compromises the growth of the lungs.
Since our baby boy was diagnosed with this it has been the worst time of our lives. Not only affecting gary and I but but our precious girls too.
So we have decided to channel our energy into doing a fundraiser for the amazing charity CDH UK. This charity has been out of this world 🌎 to us. They have supported us, gave us so much information but also put us in touch with other families in the same situation. If I'm having a bad day the parents on the group are always there for me.
They also offer financial help to CDH families who's babies need specially adapted prams etc due to requiring ongoing oxygen etc at home.
Katie and Olivia along with the amazing swimmers of Cardenden Amateur Swimming Club are jointly going to swim the length of Loch Ness, which is 37 km, on Monday 26th June.
Any sponsorships would really mean the world to us as well as all the families in the uk affected by CDH.
