Story
I’m one of the lucky ones - I’ve already received my first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. Other people, especially in the developing world, will have to wait much longer. And nobody is completely safe until everyone is safe.
My jab was free for me, and so I’ve decided to donate the cost of my jab so that others can get protected sooner. I would love it if you would join me and donate whatever you can too.
All the money raised will go to the COVAX Advance Market Commitment (AMC), overseen by the World Health Organisation. This program ensures the world’s poorest countries will get access to COVID-19 vaccines, regardless of their ability to pay. COVAX is supported by governments and charities too.
Please donate what you can. Here’s the approximate price per jab (remember, you will get two jabs so please donate double if you can):
Oxford-AstraZeneca: £3
Pfizer-BioNTech: £15
Moderna: £24
