Story

I have been thinking for sometime how I could do my bit for Kelly Turner in the hopes that she can get the treatment that she needs for her rare form of cancer. As such, I shall be walking Hadrian's Wall (with my friends: Clive, Josh, Sue, Andy, Ellen, Clare and Chris) this summer - all 84 miles of it!

Kelly Turner is the daughter of my good friends Martin and Linda and was diagnosed with this rare teenage cancer back in October 2015. It just came out of the blue and turned their lives upside down. Her cancer is DSRCT which is Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumours. This affects approximately 20 Teenagers Worldwide annually.

Only Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York can and have offered surgery and immunotherapy to Kelly. But at the estimated cost of $1,200,000.00. Many people are trying to raise as much money as they can to try and make sure she gets to America as soon as possible.

Thank you for your support!
