Story
Building Bridges is a free therapeutic program designed for children and families affected by domestic violence. We believe in the power of creativity, community, and care. Through art and play therapy, family-centred support, and holistic care — all free of charge — we help families heal, grow, and rebuild trust.
Why are we fundraising?
Despite its life-changing impact, Building Bridges is drastically underfunded. We’ve recently seen a sharp rise in referrals – with many new families in crisis needing urgent support – but without sustainable funding, we’re struggling to meet the demand.
Our mission is simple yet urgent:
To lessen the impact of trauma through engaging, child-centred creative activities while focusing on holistic, family-centred care and therapy that is free of cost.
British Skydiving Ambassador Johnny, CEO of MMARAP, is doing something incredible. He’s literally taking the leap by skydiving from thousands of feet in the air — all to raise money for our Building Bridges program.
Every pound Johnny raises will directly support both of the charity we work with. Funds will help us provide:
Essentials for children and families attending our therapy sessions, paid therapeutic support, so our trained therapists can deliver more sessions to those in need, vital resources and care packages delivered directly to families in crisis.
Your donation — whether big or small — will help children recover from trauma, build resilience, and start to feel safe again.
Together, we can offer more than just therapy. We can offer hope. Please help us fund our free therapeutic program for children who have been exposed to domestic violence.
With your support, Building Bridges can reach more families, deliver more sessions, and make sure no child is left behind.
This will be taking place on the 29th August 2025.
Donate now. Help us build bridges to healing.
Thank you!
