What is crowdfunding?

Story
I'm trying to raise money to donate to local causes such as schools homeless shelters churches and many more I have been volunteering for around 2 years giving both time and money if you could help by donating 1 pound or any amount you would like to it would be much appreciated by myself and the people who will receive donations and help thanks Ryan
