I've raised £1000 to Support a family in Northern Ireland living with two children that have cystic fibrosis.

I’ve always been a great lover of running and sport from a young age and have done a few charity events in the past such as half marathons in Scotland. I applied in May 2018 after this years London Marathon as the atmosphere always looks amazing. I have a few friends/family members that have done it in the past, however I never expected to be successful. I know it is notoriously very hard to get into. Inspite of this, I was one of the lucky ones to secure ballot entry for the 2019 London Marathon so thought why not do it for a good cause. I’m running to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis (CF) by supporting a young family affected in Northern Ireland. Any money raised will go directly to the family affected by helping to cover costs incurred with the condition. Examples include; child care costs, medical equipment, sporting/exercise equipment and to offset parents having to take time out of work for hospital appointments/admissions. Thanks in advance for any donation given big or small.
