We are raising money in aid of the family of Ryan King.

Last month my brother suddenly passed away, aged 30, leaving behind his wife Kathryn and daughter Chloe.

It came as such a shock to us all as he was a huge part of all of our lives. From a young age Ryan suffered with type one Diabetes and Epilepsy, but this did not stop him from marrying the girl of his dreams and bringing into the world his beautiful daughter who will be starting Year one next month.

Ryan was on a stag do in Prague with friends at the time which came as a shock to us and his friends who have been so supportive and helpful ever since. They informed us Ryan had a brilliant time before hand which brought a little joy to our family and friends.

Many people would say someone with just one of his illnesses would struggle to survive and enjoy their life but Ryan battled on ensuring he lived his life to the fullest seizing every opportunity. Him and his family would spend a lot of time together on hiking trips, family holidays or even staying in watching films all day with his daughter Chloe who will be turning 6 next month and misses her dad so much.

Those of you who knew Ryan would know about his love for football (despite his many injuries) and was a huge fan of Liverpool FC. The first match of the season was hard for all of us as we missed Ryan's rants and complaints about the game however the win brought a smile to all of our faces.

Ryan will forever remain in all of our hearts, a devoted dad, a loving husband, an amazing brother, wonderful son and grandson and nephew. We hope to make his name live on and be strong for his daughter who is heartbroken but a very strong little girl who he would be so proud of.
