Story
I'm aiming to raise £3,000 for Craig (children's) Ward in the Ulster Hospital.
In October 2024 my youngest daughter, Lavender, became very unwell with an enterovirus when she was just 6 weeks old.
Her symptoms were severe and she was taken to A&E where she was rushed to Paediatric resus and worked on by the medical staff for a few hours. Then next 5 nights were spent in Craig Ward for more tests and treatments. The care she received was amazing and without it she may not have made it through the week.
No amount of chocolate or cards could ever show the gratitude we have for everyone who looked after Lavender. But hopefully some much needed money will help the Ward look after anybody else who may need it!
Me and a group of 3 other eager participants will be cycling 320km (200miles) in one day from Dunfanaghy to Bangor on the 31st of August 2025. We aim to complete this in around 12 hours moving time (could be significantly more 😬).
Any donations are greatly appreciated and any other support or sharing are welcomed too.
Thanks very much,
Ryan
