Story

This year I will be running the TCS London Marathon, for the main sponsors TCS. They have a unique few spaces for teachers and I was lucky enough to secure one.
The theme is to inspire. So what better way than listen to the thoughts of the whole school, which was a trip to the beach. I have gone big! The aim - a free trip for all 251 pupils, including coach travel, ice cream, bucket and spade and entry to the sealife centre. With over £3000 already secured, the aim is to reach out to pupils parents, my own family and friends to gain the vital funds to make it happen.
The training has been strenuous, long runs, early mornings and late nights, balanced with a small family and the general daily role of being an Asssitant Principal.
Alongside this, there will be a sizeable donation to the National Autistic Society.

Please do give what you can! We surveyed our pupils and over 45% of them had never been to the beach! It may seem simple, but could be a lifelong memory for many.
