Art Branches:
Art Branches CIC is a registered community interest company. A small proactive, non profit organisation providing opportunities across the East of England. Set up in 2015, with the aim of improving participant's physical and mental health through supported creative projects linked to the environment.

As we emerge from the global pandemic, supporting mental health has never been more important. To that end, Mum and I have decided to rise to the challenge of walking the 100 miles of the South Downs Way starting on 1 August 2021 with the aim of raising valuable funds and awareness of the vital work of Art Branches.
Your help will enable Art Branches to:
• Assist people living in the community with mild to moderate mental health problems • Support inpatients at Wedgewood House, an acute psychiatric unit in Bury St Edmunds
Community Workshops:
• Four workshops for up to 8 people, designed to develop mindful awareness and knowledge of both local environment and heritage through learning. • The supported learning of new art techniques and production of artworks that participants can be proud of.
£1,200 will fund all aspects of one programme for example ‘Abbey Tales’

Workshops for Wedgewood Unit Inpatients, Bury St Edmunds:
• Weekly workshops giving patients the invaluable opportunity to leave the Wedgewood Unit and visit Hardwick Heath, where a professional artist will facilitate interaction with the natural environment using photographic and creative activities.
£5000 will fund workshops for 6 months providing opportunities for around 50 patients.
• £500 will pay for 15 x A1 laminated prints of patients' work to line the walls at Wedgewood House. • £100 will provide art materials for 25 patients.
We're ready to 'put on the boots!' and walk 100 miles in 7 days. Thank you for supporting the vital work of Art Branches.
