"Bransgore School has big ideas but little money to develop our outdoor spaces in school. We believe that direct, concrete learning experiences are the key to real and lasting learning taking place. As a school we aim to build resilient, enthusiastic, motivated and collaborative learners who still maintain a questioning and investigative approach to learning as they move on to secondary school.The money raised will help fund the construction of a sensory and pollinator garden. This will be a place for children to touch and smell plants and flowers developing a care and respect for them through tending the area.It is proven that such spaces are highly beneficial to all pupils but particularly so to those pupils with more profound sensory, medical and behavioural needs. "I've always want to do something that would really push me to my limits, so I signed up to do a 100mile ride. Being born and raised in the area I thought it was a good opportunity to give something back to the Community that I grew up in. Nothing is going to push me more than 100mile bike ride, and let's be honest I'm 42 years old I'm no spring chicken anymore!". Ryan Mitchell. (fundraiser)
