Weʼre raising £300 to Correct a tattoo for my mentally challenged friend.
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
My best friend Ryan has learning difficulties and has struggled with mental health since his teens. He doesn't work due to his condition but is now trying his best to get onto a course that will help his future. He has three beautiful children but now lives alone in a one bedroom flat which takes up what little allowance he has.
A short while ago he decided he wanted a tattoo, but couldn't afford to get a professional to do it. So he bought a second hand machine cheap from E-Bay and decided to do his own. His first attempt was a rose on the back of his hand (yes that's supposed to be a rose), he had no practice or training. He also got infected through not using any antibacterial. He did two other tattoos before sending pictures and being subsequently stopped. The one on the back of his hand is by far the worst. The 'Deadpool' on his arm is quite shocking but can at least be covered.
Since doing this he has since retreated into his self again due to fears that he will be ridiculed. I am trying to raise money to get a professional artist to cover Ryans mistake and boost his confidence.
Thank you in advance for anything you could donate.
