    Story

    A father & Son

As I am sure you are aware, my brother Dave is battling cancer. He really has gone through some difficult times the past couple of years but the one thing that always keeps him going is seeing his beautiful boy Syd.

If you know Dave you will know the bond these two have is incredible. Syd idolises Dave and to Dave Syd is his world. In my eyes he is one of the greatest father's I know, I am not being biased, he is incredibly attentive, loves Syd unconditionally and tends to his every need. The world would be a better place with more Dave's as father figures.

Dave is unable to work at the moment as he is poorly, he is going through the process of his chemo which knocks him about a bit. Laura his partner cares for him full time so finances at the moment are incredibly low.

Dave's only way to see Syd is to pick him up himself, his car has had to be scrapped and taxi's cost £32 a time, Dave would pay this, as time with Syd is worth it but he just doesn't have it. So both Dave and Syd are suffering as they can't get to one another.

We are raising money to buy a car for Dave so he can see Syd as regularly as possible. Please help if you can, Every single penny will make such a huge difference to him.

Let's get these guys back together, and give Dave his reason to continue his difficult battle.

I am Dave's sister Sarah. Our Mom Maxine messaged me to share her idea of starting a just giving page to help Dave with a car as Syd is Daves life. We both know how much love they have for one another and just want to bring them back together.
