I've raised £20000 to support three good causes that are dear to our hearts. Any donation would be gratefully received. Thank you

Simon: "Its simple really! I have reached a point in my life where I want to do something good for others. I have got myself back in to shape in the last 2 years and, in order to create focus to continue to maintain my health and well-being I, along with my good friend of more than 25 years, Jon Estell, have chosen to ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in June 2018 to raise money for great causes. Any donation will be gratefully received, but we are asking our corporate sponsors for £1/mile, totaling £909"
Jon: "Simon and I have been great mates for over 25 years, both educated as product designers, have wonderful families, work in the same industry but somewhere along the way have become Mamil's (Middle Age Men in Lycra!). When he approached me to do this challenge I instantly said yes! To see the full length of United Kingdom by bike with a great friend and to do it for a small focused local charity that will massively benefit from donations, i am very much up for the challenge. Except the hills. And the rain. And the wind. And the sore ass. And the training. So, please ease our pain and donate - do not underestimate its impact. Thanks all"
Corporate sponsors will have their logos printed on our ride gear for the entire trip. We will be blogging and vlogging on all social media formats during our adventure to maximise exposure to the companies who have supported us
These causes are:
Oliver Dean Callis (Moo Bears) was born on the 6th of January 2013. Oliver was born with Downs Syndrome, with sight and hearing problems and with 4 holes in his heart. Despite several serious episodes, Oliver has prevailed and is now 4 years old. His father, Scott is well known in the lighting industry and has dedicated his life and profits from his business to making Oliver’s life comfortable and secure for the future. Our ride will help to secure funding for his education and future life. We are honoured to be able to ride in his name.
‘Charlie’s Gift’ is a Hertfordshire based charity, which provides grants of money to support local children who face challenges in life because of health issues, special needs, bereavement or poverty. ‘Charlie’s Gift’ has been set up by Trustees Nicole and Jason Fidler, in memory of their young son Charlie who died suddenly in June 2010, aged just 8 years from Anaphylactic Shock. Charlie was always a loving and giving little boy who lived his short but happy life to the full. In the compassionate spirit to which Charlie approached his life, our aim as a charity is to lend a financial helping hand to children whose lives are touched by adversity, living within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our hope is that the grants of money will make a positive impact on these children’s lives by helping to make life a little happier and a little easier for them.
We are honoured to ride in support of this charity.
