Story
Velocity Dance is a Community Dance School based in Woolston, Warrington.
Under the current circumstances we made the decision to suspend classes due to the Government recommendation of social distancing and for the safety of our participants and staff. We have a duty of care to protect them and the rest of our wonderful community.
Due to this decision we are left in a difficult situation and considering ways that we could raise some funds to support our April rent for the building, as well as supporting our self employed teachers to ensure we come out of this comfortably when it all calms down.
We are continuing our dance classes via digital delivery and trying everything we can to keep classes running to ensure some structure and healthy activity for our participant's. We understand we can not ask for full fees for this type of delivery and therefore this is going to have an effect as to what we can cover with regards to outgoings, rent, bills, tutor fees. However we really do want to keep these classes on offer for our participants and anyone else in the local community who may wish to join in from home. Everyone who wishes to join in can. (I would just need to send you a link to join the classes).
Therefore we would be appreciative of any small donations that could be made in an attempt to keep the school safe to continue after this crisis and to support (if possible) our self employed teachers in some way.
Please note no profit will be made from these funds. Rent will be paid in April and teachers will be provided with some funds to support there limit of work at this time and help them through these difficult times.
Sending huge thanks and gratitude in advance for any donations and support you can offer to Velocity Dance and staff. xx
