For some reason or another our elders are entering into nursing homes. Reasons can be that their partner has passed away or their isn't enough family support to provide care.
It is our aim to establish nursing homes which cater for such Muslim women. Nursing homes would create a life line for some of our elders- a social hub where they can be around other women and care-givers. Hence removing isolation and loneliness. Also the central focus would be on creating and strengthening ones connection with God via daily prayers, kutbahs, adhan and educational talks. Relaxation and creative activities would also be provided, eg, knitting, massage, arts and crafts and so on.
This is a brief description of our aim. All success is in God's hands.
