Story

Hi all....

So on Monday the 23rd November at 8pm I will be undergoing a challenge over the course of 48 hours. The idea was taken from a former Navy Seal by the name of David Goggins. The 4/4/48 running challenge requires you to run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours so little sleep and almost 50 miles and some of the fittest people have found it gruelling! I haven't had time to train for this as its fairly last minute to try and raise money for a cause that is close to my heart so I am expecting it to be both a mental battle as well as physical. As many of you may know I do many challenges and never ask for money and most I don't even mention till after I have done them but this time is different and anything at all you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thank-you in advance and I look forward to punishing myself over that time period knowing that whatever is raised will do good for so many.

Please Read below as to why there is a need for this fundraiser...

--------------------

Like many I struggle give money to things that I cannot see where the money is going directly, so after meeting an amazing man called John Kiseba who's vision I found so inspiring, I decided to go over to Zambia to see the need first hand and see what I could do to help.

While I was across in Zambia, I was involved in a water project to provide clean water to multiple communities as well as getting involved in the feeding programs that feed over 500 children, visiting the schools they have made to provide education for children that would not be able to access it otherwise, among visiting the farm they have made to help provide both work for people and use the food for the feeding programs as well as to sell to use the money to put back into the schools. On top of this I visited various churches and got to hear about the outreach programs that they run to help their own communities.

Currently they are in need of £10000 to help fund all these projects as well as to finish of the build of a church which in turn will help so many in the local community.

My Goal is to raise 10% of this (£1000) and every penny you could give would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking at visiting Zambia again in 2021 and hope to be able to share with you all where the money that you so kindly gave went.

The goal of Stir the Fire Ministries, based in Zambia, Africa, is to support widows, orphans, & vulnerable children by providing love, food, hope & Christ. Stir the Fire
