Story
It’s hard to believe that a whole year has passed since Freya left us. Not a day goes by that she isn’t missed deeply. Freya was a determined, fierce and inspiring girl who impacted the lives of those she met.
To honor Freya’s memory and support her family and friends, I’m turning grief into action by running Stratford marathon on 26th April 2026 in order to raise funds for Sycamore Counselling Service; a local charity offering help to those who need it most in our community. My aim is to raise £500 to support this worthwhile charity.
Sycamore Counselling Service is a local Charity offering a confidential and professional counselling service for adults, children and young people from throughout Warwickshire but especially from Nuneaton, Bedworth and the surrounding areas.
They have a team of counsellors who work with adults, children and young people with a variety of issues which include: anxiety, depression, bullying and bereavement.
Young people deserve support, understanding, and access to help when they need it most. If we can make even a small difference in someone’s life, that would be a meaningful way to honor Freya’s memory.
Freya’s life mattered. Her story matters. And through this fundraiser, I hope Freya’s memory will help others find hope, support, and strength.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps create something positive in her name.
