Story
A horrific Motoring accident has left Joey Abbs and Shaun whiter with serious life changing injuries. They were involved in a hit and run accident on Friday night in Newmarket. I can speak on behalf of a lot of local people that know of Joey....he is such a genuine person who always has a smile on his face and is just a truly top fella! I don't know Shaun personally however knowing he was mates with Joey will no doubt mean he is a genuinely nice bloke that was doing something to help his mate and did not deserve to suffer the injuries caused by that hit and run driver! Both Joey and Shaun will have the support of there family but if we could raise them some money to support through this horrendous time I'm sure it would be a great support.

6 years agoHi All,, I just wanted to say again I'm overwhelmed by the support you have all shown. In truly touched by your generousty from individuals that know Joey and Shaun personally, the football community and donations received from people just touched by their story! You are all truly remarkable! When I set this page up I was hoping to reach the goal of £5000 but to see we have exceeded more than £10000 now is remarkable and very humbling! Thank you all for your kind donations and words of encouragement and support for Joey and Shaun!

I visited Joey tonight and was just taken aback with the courage and strength he is showing! Such an inspirational man! Please keep sharing the support is overwhelming! I can't thank you enough! This will make such a difference to Joey and Shaun at such an awful time!
