Our son Jona was born with hemiplegia. He is an amazing, brilliant 9 year old growing up with his brother and sister in Kampala Uganda. He has been accepted to attend an award winning 2 week therapy camp in London in April 2017, especially designed to build hand function and confidence in young people with hemiplegia. By the end of it we hope his ability to do routine tasks such as buttons, zips, carry a tray, use a knife and fork etc will be greatly improved. This would be a game changer for his independence and confidence. The amount we are raising is to cover the camp fees and flights for Jona and Mummy.
