Story
Beit El Baraka is a Lebanese non-profit organisation dedicated to restoring dignity and self-sufficiency to families hit hardest by the country's economic crisis. Founded to support retirees who could no longer make ends meet, the charity now runs free-of-charge supermarkets, rehabilitates homes, covers medical and educational costs, and revives local agriculture
Since the escalation of the conflict, around one million people - roughly one-fifth of the country's population - were forced to flee their homes, primarily from southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and Beirut's southern suburbs. Beit el Baraka has been at the forefront of the humanitarian response, providing essential support to those affected while creating sustainable pathways towards recovery and self-sufficiency. Every pound raised goes directly towards supporting individuals and families in rebuilding their lives with dignity.
