    Story

My name is Sabrina I am a 36 year old woman. I was diagnosed with MS in march 2016 although I have had symptoms since my 20s but have been misdiagnosed even to the point I was told it was all in my head. My MS is progressive and I am losing my ability to walk more and more what feels like a little everyday. I now rely on my mobility scooter to get around outside and I am lucky if I can walk with a stick 20 metres in total a day although it is usually less which is a big difference from approximately the 2 mile I walked to take my son to school and back just over 2 years previous. To say I am scared is an understatement . My only hope is a treatment called HSCT it is an intense stem cell treatment similar to some parts chemotherapy which helps wipe out the damage caused by MS and then regrows the immune system using your own stem cells a sort of reset so to speak it is approximately £50,000 yes you read that right £50,000! inclusive of travel to pay for this. I do not meet the very specific uk criteria to recieve this treatment on the NHS or privately in the uk I will have to travel to more than likely to Mexico or Russia that is why I am trying to raise money for this as if it works will halt progression of my disease and may and has for many reversed some of the effects of my MS. This is my dream.Just to be able to look forward to no progression would be a dream come true. To not fear what my future has to hold for me and my family would just be amazing. This is my first try at raising money for anything so I have asked to raise £1,000 to start my fundraising which is approximately 2% of the total I hope to raise. As you can imagine time is of the essence. Even if you can't help I ask only for your support and to share my link and I do want to thank you for reading my story.
    Thank You
I have recently reduced my initial target to try this as a first milestone.
