Story

Hi, my name is sab i am epileptic, and live on my own. I was diagnosed with epilepsy on the 15th February 2017 after suddenly having seizures. My first seizure was at 2.20am on the 26th November 2016, and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance. Later that day I had another one.
I would like to continue to have my independence but in order to keep my independence I need to have some technology to help. In the UK there are about half a million people with epilepsy. And every year around 600 people die from Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP). Which is the unexpected death of a seemingly healthy person with epilepsy, where no cause of death can been found. This terrifies me and as my seizures happen at night I have no control over them.
I really really needed to have some piece of mind and know that I'm safe when I go to sleep.
I am looking to fund a seizure alarm which I would wear. This technology would allrrt someone to my seizure and let them know that I need help. I also need some anti sufication pillows, so that I don't suffocate if I am on my front during a seizure in my sleep. Thankyou for reading xx
