I've raised £300 to help One Can Trust, a foodbank that support families and people in desperate need of food

On the 8th March, I'm running the Cambridge half-marathon in support of One Can Trust . One Can Trust are volunteer-led foodbank organisation based in Buckinghamshire, who provide ongoing support to families and people which are experiencing severe financial hardship.
They send out over 400 food parcels a month and are referred to by up to 100 frontline agencies - to ensure those in desperate need of emergency food aid aren't turned away.
In the UK more than 14 million people are living in poverty – including 4.5 million children. When this is combined with high rent costs, low pay, restricted benefits and delays to Universal Credit. Many families, single parents and working people are unable to buy food or are left with a difficult choice between paying for food or other basic necessities.
Thats why the work of One Can Trust is absolutely vital.
With your help, I hope to fundraise enough money for them to cover a week’s administrative support.
Even the smallest donation can make a huge difference.
£5 can provide a food parcel for a family
£10 donation helps keeps the cupboard full in a family home.
Thanks for taking the time to read this - if you have any questions about One Can Trust or can offer any half-marathon advice to avoid blisters, feel free to drop me a message.
