    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is the new way to raise money for a personal cause on JustGiving.

    Story

I have home schooled my child for last two years, due to him being bullied at school and the teachers sweeping it under the rug.

I would like to set up weekly work shops and group meetings for children who are home educated. I think it would be beneficial if I could hire a centre and give these children a meeting point where they can do activities and get extra help with education. As well as socialise with similar children.

I noticed that even though home schooling is becoming more common parents struggle with finding a place for their children to meet up with other home schooled children. I know I did.

Home Education Learning meetings are supplied once a month with my local council. This is where children can meet up and socialize and parents can get advice on the curriculum and discuss any problems they may be encountering.

I think it would be great if I could raise some money so we can set up and have these support group meeting on a regular basis. I would like to run weekly socialization groups. And also supply a tutor to help guide children who require more help with their education.
