    Story

    Sadie - taken too early

The world lost an amazing young girl on Monday 20th August 2018. Sadie Bristow tragically died as a result of a severe allergic reaction.

In her short life she lived to the max at all times. Her infectious smile and lovable nature will be missed by so many.

We're raising money to create a lasting legacy for Sadie. We want to try and form a foundation or charitable organisation - inspiring Sadie's passion for tennis and raising awareness of the ever increasing dangers of allergies.

    Some words from Stewart:

Sadie was an inspiration and we wish to carry on inspiring in her name. Sadie, at the end of the 2018 summer season, was ranked no1 UK 9u girl. Her passion, drive and determination got her there and we will do all we can in the same spirit to set up a charitable organisation or foundation in her name. To carry on with her passion in tennis. To aid allergy understanding, research and prevention. We will update as soon as we know what direction everything will take. If anyone has any advice, can offer any assistance please do contact us. Thank you ever so much to everyone. The donations so generously given here will help us hugely and we are so ever grateful for the support and love that is giving us courage. It will help immensely for us to get back together. All our love, Stewart, Clare, Charlotte and April xx

Stewart, Clare, Charlotte, April and their family are devastated at this terrible time. Stewart spent so many hours on the tennis court with Sadie. She was equally competent by his side on the ski slopes. It's going to be hard for him to return to those same tennis courts and carry on.

We've set up this page to enable us to support Stewart's family for as long as it takes and help them create a foundation or charitable organisation in Sadie's name.

Sadie was a hugely talented girl - her desire and commitment to succeed was an inspiration for so many. We should remember the achievements she gained in such a short period of time. Not just a "tennis player", Sadie had one goal and we'd all be hard pushed to bet against her fulfilling her dream of tennis stardom. Already she'd won regional tournaments and represented Kent only the other day. Her journey was just beginning.

If we all give a little, then it gives Stewart, Clare and their family the time they need and a focus to carry on and create a legacy in Sadie's name.

    Thank you.
