So after feeling deeply for the homeless people in and around Leicester and across the country. And because of Arif Voraji for being an amazing advocate for and for helping the homeless and being a huge inspiration to me for a few years now. I have decided to sleep rough with just my coat and a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard to keep me warm, and this will be an absolute luxury to most faced with life on the cold concrete. Ill be honest now, I am scarec of what I may be faced with, wnat may happen and how I will cope. I no doubt will cry and struggle tremendously and hate myself because I hate the cold BUT many dont have a choice but to love outside. So as I write this now I could cry. I am sat on my warm sofa, in my warm house and its warm. I have the heating on, I dont need a jumper on. However outside its currently 4 degrees and at 0100 hours there is a 40% chance of rain and many wont be able to escape the cold and wet like myself and many others.

In Leicester alone, there are approximately 31 that were found by Leicester based charity ACTION HOMELESS and they were the ones they found. This does mot take in to account the ones that are sleeping in derelict buildings and those that were temporarily in b&b’s, reciecing treatment, Sleeping in parks, in woodland etc.... 1 person on the streets, is one person too many. We live in 2018 not the middle ages.

In the UK there are more than 300,000 people homeless and this breaks my heart. I want to raise as much as possible to help these homeless persons. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!! Please help anyway you can and help foght homelessness.
