Hello, my name is Saeid. Originally from Iran, I came to England in 2009 because my life was in danger back home. I’ve been here for 15 years now, building a life in safety with my wonderful wife and our two-year-old son. But there’s been a constant ache in my heart—my parents and younger sister are still in Iran, and I haven’t seen them since I left.

Life in Iran has become increasingly difficult, especially for my parents. Both my mum and dad are struggling with serious health issues. My father suffers from a heart condition, is deaf in one ear, and has a lung condition that makes everyday life a challenge. My mother also has a heart condition and battles with arthritis. The healthcare system in Iran is not only inadequate but also incredibly expensive, and it’s been a constant struggle to ensure they receive the care they need. My family and I regularly send money to cover medical costs, but it’s not enough.

Adding to this, I’m also dealing with my own health challenges. I have kidney failure, which has made it difficult to provide the support my family needs while caring for my own health and my young son. The situation has reached a point where I can no longer bear the distance or the uncertainty of my parents’ well-being.

My deepest wish is to bring my parents over to visit me in England, where we can be together again, and where they can receive the medical care they desperately need. However, the process of reuniting with my family is incredibly costly. Between legal fees, travel expenses, and visa applications, the total cost is far beyond what we can afford on our own.

This is why I’m reaching out for help. Any support, no matter how small, would bring us one step closer to being together again after 15 long years. It’s not easy to ask for help, but I believe in the kindness and generosity of others. Your assistance could make all the difference in reuniting a family and ensuring my parents can live their later years with the care and comfort they deserve.
