🚴‍🚴‍🚴 CYCLING FOR SAFFRON 🚴🚴‍🚴‍

✨🍀 SPONSORED RIDE 🍀✨

Monday 7th October to Saturday the 12th October

We are cycling the UK's Longest Bridleway, The Pennine Bridleway, 205 miles of minor roads, stone tracks, stone setts, worn causey flags, grass and aggregate tracks from Derbyshire, through the Yorkshire Dales to Cumbria.

The ride will take place over 5 days to raise money for our dear friend Saffron. An incredible young event rider and horsewoman who has sadly suffered a life changing fall at Bramham 4* this year, currently leaving her paralysed.

Saffron has created an amazing business, produced several horses up through the levels of Eventing, and competed for Team GB, on several occasions, noted as one of the stars of the future.

We have been overwhelmed with gratitude for the donations received to date, very much appreciated. We now have 22 cyclists embarking on the challenging Pennine Bridleway gaining sponsorship.

Neuro Spinal physio sessions costing £180 an hour with the additional costs of accommodation for Saffron, the costs will really escalate. Not to mention the set up of adapted facilities to be installed at home for Saffron to live her best life going forward.

An FES bike (Functional Electrical Stimulation) is estimated, to be in the region of 15-20k.

As people have been so kind and generous we have extended the level of support we would like to raise as more and more people have become involved.

We hope you can support as generously as possible on this crazy adventure we are about to undertake to help Saffron with her very long road ahead. If not, we would love to be waved on along the way.
