I am passionate about making a positive difference to people's lives, through education, knowledge and empowerment. I have worked with families and children for over 20 years and have been committed to promoting a positive sense of self identity and emotional well- being. Over the last 10 years, I have pursued my passion for healthy hair within the Black Community, self acceptance and self love , through the promotion of my natural leave in conditioning hair spray for healthy hair and scalp and education regarding a healthy hair care regime, via hair parties and healthy hair consultations at no charge.

I am now writing a book for women and one for children regarding understanding the science of Black hair, education of healthy hair, self acceptance and self love. True beauty starts with being yourself. 😘

The funds will support the publishing package, of support , guidance and mentoring as this is my first time writing a book. The funds will also pay for the illustrations in the children’s book , as this book is an educational and informative book, with a focus to inspire and encourage self love and self acceptance in our children to celebrate their hair from an early age through understanding the science of black hair and learning how easy our hair is to manage through education and changing the negative script that we as a community are passing to our children.
