WeŹ¼ve raised Ā£862 to take on the Sahara Ultra Challenge š¬ - to help fund a new outdoor classroom at Heyhouses C of E Primary school

Story
On 14th October we are taking on the Sahara ultra challenge (2 back to back marathons in the desert) to raise money for Heyhouses school.
Nicola works at Heyhouses and manages the outdoor resources so the money will be used to create a communication friendly space outside for the children to relax, read and enjoy small group session in an outdoor environment. Any extra money raised will provide additional resources for the outdoor areas at the school.
The double marathon distance challenge takes us through the UNESCO World Heritage Draa Valley, across baked rocky trails, through red clay Berber villages, and palmeries, and ultimately down to the sandy dunes of the mighty Sahara.
Temperatures are expected to be around 25 - 30 degrees and our training hasnt really factored in the heat so far!
