It has been a year since Sahil Tiwari had a life-changing car crash that was not his fault which has permanently damaged his spine and has caused him to become paralysed. His recovery has not been great at all as it has also led to him having 5 surgeries to treat his severe bedsores, he has blood clots in his lungs meaning that he has difficulty breathing and from a young age he has been anaemic and has thalassemia so he has to have blood transfusions (which costs thousands of rupees) every month in order to survive which has also caused complications in his surgeries and his recovery.

He is a guy who was and is loved by everyone he meets so we would like to raise money to help him recover as he is only 22 and has his whole life in front of him and it has been a year since he has been home.

In India unlike us they do not have the NHS who support the victim and their family. Sahil's care has already cost hundreds of thousands of rupees and he still needs more. He has received no compensation or other funding, as his crash was simply that - a terrible accident that could happen to any of us.
