    Story

Thousands of cats suffer from brutality, hunger and accidents. Give your support!

There could be roughly between thousands to almost a million stray cats in and around Zanzibar. Though the exact number is unknown, the evidence of overpopulation is obvious. Cats without caretakers to look out for them face issues such as malnutrition from lack of proper food or clean water, diseases from widespread germs and parasites, harm from exposure to the elements, injuries from vehicles, predators, and much more. We are constructing a small sanctuary to start saving lives, donate for saving cat lives.

Support our effort to save lives of innocent cats.

    Thanking you in advance

Support feral cats for shelter and neutering.

Zanzibar is highly populated with wandering cats especially in Stone town , 2 out of 10 cats are taken care in their homes, 8 are homeless, In Zanzibar there is a large number of stray cats, 1000's of cats, live outside of home, as animals can not find options for fetching food , they eat rotten stuff or carcass.

As they scavenge encounter many problems unloving people especially children who stone them, diseases which no one think of treating them as stray cats.

Tens of cats are killed each day, very hard decisions are made by people who find them wandering or sneaking in their home for feeding themselves (they steal food) , they pack them and suffocate them in the plastic sacks for throwing them in the rivers or bush, we witness the cruelty, there are no official regulation to protect them from such harm.

Its difficult to determine how many stray cats live on the streets and bushes, they scattered everywhere, their situation is overwhelming, Your support will give stray cats opportunity to live healthier and happy. Shara, Lutfia and Sahra in collaboration with Kitogani community they facilitate this project to accomplish the goal.

We need to save their lives, have very limited resources to achieve this goal, help us to pilot this project now, please, give your support to get shelter, food, vaccination and neutering .. Your support is appreciated.

    Thanking you in advance
