In memory of Sahra Daud, age 9, who sadly died of Meningitis earlier this academic year, Hunter’s Bar Junior School is hoping to raise £10,000 to create a peaceful and colourful garden. Sahra was a genuinely caring person and helped everyone she could. She was special and is greatly missed.

Sahra had a unique ability to bring people together and in creating a garden we hope to do the same with the children, the family and the wider community. Sahra’s smile lit up people’s lives and we hope the garden will radiate the same warmth and welcoming feeling as a lasting legacy in her memory.

We are not only hoping for money and would be equally happy with time and/or materials for the garden.
