Story
Hi!! On 27th May I will be doing a 10k run to help fundraise my trip to Honduras this summer. The objective of the project is to empower rural communities to seize their fundamental human rights and become more aware that despite the high levels of poverty and illiteracy rates in Honduras, they do have access to justice.
To be able to shadow the local lawyers and help give free legal advice is an amazing opportunity! I also love the Spanish language and hopefully I'll come back fluent (unlikely but here's hoping!)
Sooo as someone who enjoys biscuits far too much, doing a 10k run to fundraise for this opportunity will be a challenge in itself . However, I am determined to go on this trip to help the rural communities of Honduras make use of their legal system - even if it means limping past the finish line!
I would be ever so grateful for any sum that you could give no matter how small - it really will go a long way!
