on August the 10th 2017, I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, which turned my life upside down. When I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I felt different to other students, as they don't have this condition, even teachers did not understand. I felt like I was alone, had no one to talk, felt like my world was falling part. As a result of this my diabetes team helped me to overcome issues. This is the reason why I want to raise money for children, so people have awareness about type 1 diabetes and people can support children when they feel alone. Saleha Akhter
