Man who died in fatal collision.
A Middlesbrough man who sadly died in a collision on Dixon's Bank in Middlesbrough at around 11:40pm on 29th March has been named as 27-year-old Malik Ameer Abbas.
Malik was the driver of a Volkswagen Passat which was involved in a collision with a Mercedes C220.
The 32-year-old driver of the Mercedes was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Prior to the collision officers had identified a Mercedes travelling at high speed on Marton Road which they attempted to stop that further crashed into Malik's car resulting in hi instant death on spot.
