I've raised £1500 to two of our chosen charities

This month, a team of Saliencer’s are getting involved in ‘Move More September’ and raising funds for 2 amazing cancer charities, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Young Lives for Cancer.
Here at Salience, our employees wellbeing is always our number 1 priority, offering flexible working as well as both mental health and physical health work benefits, and when we heard about ‘Move More September’ we just had to get involved!
‘Move More September’ is all about…you guessed it… getting active and moving your body more throughout the entire month all while supporting a cancer Charity. We have chosen two important cancer charities close to our hearts: Cervical Cancer Trust and Young Lives For Cancer. These charities are doing incredible work to support individuals facing cancer, and we're excited to contribute to their missions. So exactly how are we raising the cash?!
Our team of hot steppers have pledged a whopping 5 million steps to be achieved strictly during the working week and when (not if) we hit it, Salience will make a charity donation of £50 for every team member who joined the challenge.
Saliencer’s involved in the challenge are being encouraged to find new ways to get their steps in, whether it’s volunteering to do the office ice lolly run (thanks to this weeks heatwave), taking the office doggo’s on their lunchtime patrol of Chester or taking part in an afterwork PT session courtesy of Salience, the more steps involved the better.
