Story
This is Jessie...a dog I have been friends with for 4 long years..I knew her as a pup and begged the people to give her to me then because I feared her fate. She has been tied up 24 /7 for 4 horrible years on a short chain in boiling hot Turkish weather ....all year round. Fed mainly on stale bread and borek...Each year I come back toTurkey, I visit her out of town , and argue, spit, plead and beg for her release. This year I noticed a terrible decline in her back legs obviously due to lack of exercise so I visited her mostly at nite with good food and the odd bone for something else to focus on... Its paid off a little and she looks better... she walks a little like a duck..BUT. Great news I finally persuaded them to give her to me !!! Oh god yes I know. But I could not live with the thought of her each day in a life like this ...2 months left here for me only, SO I must find a home for her...she is a female she's been fixed and is 4 years old. Sweetest nature of course and since I have had her, she has gone crazy ...never been off the chain and she cannot stop running around and loves water ....please please please anyone out there that would like to give her a good home...I am more than happy to pay for her voyage to you and all the blood tests papers etc that has to be done in order to move her abroad. Many dogs from Turkey have been taken by good people in Europe and they all say the abused and street dogs are the best ones ever. Please share this mail if you are unable to help her in any way ...
Any suggestions please contact me as well I need to find her a home ...and fast. 🙂 thank you ...
Cannot believe I have found a home for gorgeous Jessie in the UK a lovely lady with a big garden ...it is a process now here in Turkey and I now need foster care or good kennels to home her untill she's ready to go after i have done what else I can for her. I cant get too attached its heart breaking but I can say this girl would make an absolute gem as your mate !! Its taken two days to get her to walk on a lead ( hated it you can imagine) two days to learn how to climb steps ..still not quite there but food helps on the way lol. Its so moving to see her stop and smell the air along the road when we finally get to walk ..every where ..i might add. The smells the noises the feelings . I would love to know her thoughts . Anyway what I am saying is this dog is a fast learner ...shes just started to put her paw up to me and lean in against my leg and lower her head I am sure shes saying thank you 🙂
My part nearly over ...thks for all who tried to help and offer words of wisdom and encouragement ..many feel I should nt do this as i do not live here full time but if it helps one ..just one.. then my work is done ..it dosnt matter how its the end result that matters ....🙂
