Hi, I'm trying to raise money for Shaun to help him fulfill some of the things on his bucket list. Last June Shaun was becoming very ill and in pain constantly, we were told he had a suspected herniated disc, he spent lots of time visiting the doctors and being rushed to hospital, all the while he was losing so much weight and we had no idea how serious it all really was until Shaun was recently diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer, his cancer is aggressive and is a 9/10. The reason for the back problems was that the cancer had spread to his spine. He's been through a lot what with lung infections and clots on his lungs, we currently don't know what the future holds but we are being positive and strong and hoping to give Shaun some good memories, life is about living and making the most out of it and that is exactly what he intends to do, but we need some help to make this possible for him. He has already had radiotherapy and will soon be starting chemotherapy. Obviously we know the cancer is so advanced that Shaun can't be cured but we are hopeful that he can have a reasonable lifestyle for him to enjoy the future, whatever it may be. Shaun has many different things that he would like to fulfill.... Mostly involving fishing trips! Shaun also loves cycling and has done many charity rides, mostly for cancer, and he would love to be able to do one more to help raise money for others in a similar situation to himself. He is currently at home and gaining strength and weight again, it's already been a roller-coaster ride and there is bound to be more tough times ahead. We would be grateful to all that can help us to achieve Shauns goals.
