I've raised £24000 to Save 19 Nepalese girls. Help secure their home - lovingly run by Rural Women of Nepal (RuWON) - for a year.

Many of you know that in April 2017 I went to Nepal and took my daughter Eliza for her 16th birthday. We were volunteering with my friend's charity: Small Acts of Kindness (SAOK). It was Eliza's first chance to understand her good fortune in a way that was up-close and personal.
She met Nepalese girls who are constantly in danger:
Of human trafficking...
Of living in rural poverty with no education...
Of being homeless and without family following earthquakes and floods...
Of working in slave conditions...
Eliza and I are raising funds urgently to help RuWON (Rural women's Network in Nepal) which protects, cares for and educates 19 girls through their Kathmandu orphanage. These are real girls with real stories of hardship - and they need your support to continue to have a real chance of a better life.
The orphanage is always at imminent risk of closure for lack of funds. Now the girls and the inspirational team who care for them are also dealing with damage from the catastrophic flooding since June. Thousands of people in Nepal need support. I am asking you to help these 19 girls.
If the orphanage closes, the girls face a future as sex workers, slaves, street children or, at best, subsistence hill farmers with no education and no hope.
Just US$24000 will fund the orphanage for another year. They are desperate and time is very short.
If giving you more information about the girls who live in the orphanage, or providing reports on the finances of the orphanage would make you more comfortable to donate, please write to me on sallyd@netvigator.com or sallyd@dramdiff.com and I will share details with you, and tell you about the amazing Goma Devi Bastola who runs RuWON and the orphanage.
Please open your heart and help by donating ANY amount. Please don't hesitate. Give what you can. Give it today. Right now. Time is running out.
Thank you from my heart to yours
